Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Been there several times when it first opened. It was packed before, but now every time I go, there are only a few patrons. Love their meatballs and salmon salad… was curious about the rainbow cake and vegetable medallion. The result is: 1. The medallion is delicate taste yet a bit on the plain side. 2. The rainbow cake has too much sugar in it and too sweet. Overall speaking though, this ikea restaurant is a spacious and clean self service dining space. I’d still come back to enjoy the traditional dishes from time to time!"
"They added weekday lunch specials that are decent. Today was buy one entree and get two kids meals free. One other day is 50% off entrees, i think that is on Friday. All of their deals are listed on their website. The prices have gone up, but not bad with the daily specials. The taste of the food is average. Very much like cafeteria food that you get in grade school. The service is not so friendly. The people serving the food often have unfriendly attitudes and they act like they don't want to be there. That has been my experience after coming here for many years. I think it's their training. The big dining area is great. Kid friendly with a small play area. Great view of the mountains . I think you have to have an ikea member card for the specials, but those are free anyway. You get free coffee and water with the card."
"I like this restaurant and i missed it during pandemic lockdown. Now it is open and have less choices. But i still like it a lot. Also because this sitting area is very big and looks inviting. Many places by the window . Not many people at Tuesday around 4:40 p.m.Also I like vegetarian and healthy options they have. Only for me is sad - there is no more espresso or any other coffee . Only very regular one and decaf...Hopfully they will bring more options again"
"I had the pasta and marinara sauce. Flavor was good but it didn't look like the display photo. I also had the chocolate cake and the still lingonberry which were good!"
"Came to IKEA solely to eat lunch at their restaurant. The food was really good. Of course ordered the Swedish meatballs with veggies and a kid's meal of mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The mashed potatoes were so good! Next time I want to try their sandwiches and salads. Very reasonably priced ($14 for the food, a bottled water and fountain drink) and the staff was friendly."
"The best part about this place is the upstairs restaurant due to the view plenty of seating and space. I’ve been coming here since they opened and the pricing is off the charts…the kids meatball meal was $2.49 is now $4.49, and $1 for extra meatballs is now $1.50 so it was once $3.50 is now $6.00 within a few years. It can only go up from here."
"The food and experience at the IKEA Restaurant is always pleasant! First of all, the price is incredibly affordable, and there are actually quite a lot of options. Second, the dining area is always kept clean, and there’s always room to sit and eat, no matter the time of day! Lastly, the food is great for the price point, and it’s a great way to wrap up an amazing day of IKEA shopping. I definitely recommend the Swedish meatballs, chicken tenders, and garlic bread! Also, try the lingonberry drink! It’s actually pretty good :)"
"The most wonderful place to go to even for the tourists to Las Vegas the food court offers a beautiful view of red rock and the mountains. A wonderful place for an artist to visit bring your sketch pad when you go to or do what I do go there to teach your kids or grand kids how to paint."
